The K.E.DI.VI.M. is a unit of Panteion University that ensures coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration in the development of Training Programs, Continuing Education, Vocational Training, and Lifelong Learning in general. Its aim is to promote the connection between vocational education and training and contemporary socio-economic reality, contributing qualitatively to increasing employment, strengthening mobility, ensuring equal opportunities in the Knowledge Society, and enhancing social cohesion.

Specifically, the following are pursued:

a) Strengthening human resources by providing professional knowledge, skills, and abilities that create a strategic advantage for development in sectors crucial to the Greek economy.

b) Inclusion, reintegration, and professional mobility within the labor market, both nationally and internationally.

c) The supplementation, updating, and upgrading of knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired from the formal system of vocational education and initial vocational training.

d) Validation of knowledge and certification of informal, non-formal learning acquired thru long-term professional experience.

e) The provision of specialized knowledge and basic skills, as well as the certification of their acquisition thru the assessment of learning outcomes, in line with the specifications of specific

professional fields.

f) Improving the quality and performance of vocational education and training in Greece.

g) The contribution of the University's academic staff to promoting the innovation, creativity, competitiveness, and entrepreneurship of the Greek economy.

h) The creation of partnerships and interdisciplinary collaborations with domestic institutions or similar institutions abroad within the framework of planning

and the implementation of training and development programs.
